As parents, one of our most pressing concerns is making sure that our kids receive the educational opportunities they need to succeed, regardless of where they live. Yet many school districts in California are critically underfunded. We are a small group of parents in Pacifica (just south of San Francisco), who are hoping to unite with other families across the state to understand how school funding is distributed, and to lobby for changes to ensure that every public school in our state gets the funding it needs in order to provide every student with an excellent and equitable education.
